Film wedding photography
More than a decade on film, still on every wedding I photograph.
(01) Film
More than a decade on film, still on every wedding I photograph.
I have worked with film for more than a decade, and it still comes to every wedding I photograph. Every collection is hybrid: film and digital, side by side, all day.
Film changes how I work as much as how the pictures look. With a limited number of frames, I slow down, watch, and wait for the moment instead of firing at it. That patience is what I learned as a newspaper photographer, and film keeps it honest.
Digital stays with me the whole day, for the fast moments, the dark dance floor and everything that needs to happen quickly. Couples who want the full experience can have the entire wedding photographed on film.

(04) Questions
Film, answered
Do you shoot film or digital?
Both. Every collection is hybrid, film and digital together, so you get the character of film and the reliability of digital.
Can the whole wedding be photographed on film?
Yes. The entire wedding can be photographed on film as an addition to any collection. It brings an assistant to the day to help manage film.
Why do you still shoot film?
Because of how it looks and how it makes me work. Film slows me down, and the photographs feel more like memories than files.
